big fish! I'd love to see someone try to land that from the beach!! LOL

It is however very scary to think in less than 200 yrs we have virtually wiped the north sea clean of so many species of fish and so many specimen fish just don't appear because they can't grow on.
              Here fishy, fishy!

they were still there in the 1950's as well. Couple of the commerical skippers I know reckon there's still the odd one or 2 out there now chasing what few herring there are about

                  few pics I had lurking:

ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ.

                  Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

Nice pics Mark, I wish that young lad was looking in on NESA,
. during the early summer boat outings with Bert and crew there was one day when for hour after hour the Gannets, Guillimots,Terns, and anything that could get beneath the surface were pummelling a big area, until eventually the activity diminished to the odd gull picking bits off the surface. We never saw anything break the surface, so i dont think it was Dolphin, Porpoise, or Bass. In that area, we were catching loads of mackerel and coalies, so i think that is what they were feeding on, whatever they were. I think there are tuna feeding off the mackerel in the north sea.
