          fished up their earlier in the year, and whilst i was having a sarnie break I saw a pike of around 15lb wallowing about in the shallows no more than 2ft off the shore!!!! This was on the small lake.

            Possibly, as they seem to have eaten all the bloody trout.

                Aye - Cracking pictures there!

                There are a lot of pike at sweethope, however nearly all the pike I have seen have been in the small loch. My farther had 7 one day (whilst fishing for trout) where the outlet is near the weed bed, all to the Fly, (gold head damsel), all where small jacks a couple of pound, however I have seen some much bigger fish lying in the shallows.
