  • Sharpley Trip

Hi Guys, Ist post on this forum and I am seeking advise on fly patterns and hook size for Sharpley Waters.
I intend going there on Wednesday ( weather permitting ) and any help would be gratefully received.
By the way------this is a magic site for all aspects of fishing and the humour is top of the bill.

    Cheers seddo

If you haven't already, try their website although I don't know if it's up to date? It has info on what's taking fish. Best thing I suppose is to ask in the lodge or on the bank and be prepared to try something diferrent. Don't ask Sless he's a bit rubbish like me

              Hi seddo
i have never fished sharpley but try the Cats Whisker, Black Tadpole, Damsel Nymph,Viva, just to name a few. I have had some nice bags of fish on the flys in the pics ( tied by myself ) but your local tackle shop should keep you right. and good luck.
