With the heavy rain bypassing the NE and putting nowt in the river it was back to the tidal pools today.
Not many fish showing but managed this one a size 14 Stoats tail.
Around 5lb.

Hello Davy,
That's a nice sea trout mate, I still haven't had a chance to try out the rod yet. I had a look down today and the river hasn't moved a bit. I was at Durham this afternoon dropping my lass off and I had a quick look down but not happening......only saw one other bloke fishing.

This might sound like a daft question, but are the tidal pools a mark or just pools in the river that are tidal?

Cheers mate, its something im looking at for next year. I've been considering giving it a go for a few years now but don't think I've got the time to dedicate to make it worth getting the license.
