Does anyone fish the Wear around Fatfield? It's been years since I fished there and wondering if there are still the Dace and Chub there used to be? Thinking of giving it a go again.

I don,t think theres many Chub or Dace there now,but there is plenty of Barbel up to around 5lb.
I have had quite a few small ones on the fly over the past 2 years while fishing for Salmon and Seatrout.

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't expecting to find many barbel around there. Always likes the look of Fatfield so might joint Harraton next year.
