  • sharpley sat evening

fished from 5 till 9 with me bud, had a bit of wind but it wasn't too bad, the breeze was making casting difficult on the bottom lake so we moved to fish hangmans and it was much more sheltered, the water was clear and the fish were active, tried to stalk one out but couldn't get them interested, very frustrating, got a couple of wakes and a nudge on corixa and bloodworm fishing blind in the middle.
8 o'clock came and the fish started feeding on the top, out came the dries and the fun started, got one on a shuttlecock, had loads more knocks and me pal lost a "good un" when his leader snapped, *chortle chortle*

had to go at 9 but would have stayed longer, going all day next saturday

    cheers.................tom
gettin a rod for wor lass, should be a good swap!
