  • Derwent Reservoir Today 07/05/09

Never posted here before so hello everyone!

Just wanted to see what people are making of the fishing up at the derwent at the moment? I went up and found the only bit of shelter today at the Bay of Plenty and only got one knock on a green montana. Fortuantely I landed the fish and it turned out to be a personal best so dead chuffed, 8 lb 12 oz rainbow.

Have heard there are a few good fish around up there at the moment. Anyone else caught any good ones?

    Best wishes

    Andy

Andy i go there all the time-love the place. Thats one hell of a fish you got there but not unusual. My neighbour caught one a while back using power bait when ledgering 9lb er. I have struggled the last two outings but seen fish landed.

Personal best, 12.5lb Tope Scotland. 22/05/2012.
