I\'ve got a Shakespeare Sigma Fly 1615/300 9ft AFTM 8/9 rod and an Okuma Chaser CX30M reel loaded with WF9 line.

Bought them off Ebay last year to have a go at salt water fly fishing this year (if I get the chance with the baby due in April that is!)

Had a go over the field and it\'s hard to get used to just using the wrist to cast when you\'re used to yarking 14ft of scaffy pole and a 6oz lead!

Greys, I fish a lot of lures (gold heads) and as a result I expect to trash my rod when the lure hits it, at least with greys the unconditional garente covers you!
I am taking my fly rods to Norway this summer, I hope to get a few big cod on the fly, and some monster coalies!!

hardy gem and a hardy favourite, snowbee diamond, daiwa sensor rods
greys grx, hardy marquis, greys platinum Xi, and rimlfy reels

bought a fladen vantage travel fly rod last year which feels superb, however with their current reputation for quality, I\'ll have to wait and see wether it falls to bits or not

picking up a new rod this weekend from sharpes of aberdeen, tried one side by side with a sage and it was miles ahead of the sage

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

The sharps range are nice, I am waiting to see the new platinums.
Had a play with a multiplying fly reel from lureflash today, due out next month. I think it retails for £70.00 with 3 spare funky spools.
I can see it being a hit with sea trout anglers or 8lb + line lure stocky bashers.
Did you know materline are bringing out 444 in half sizes!! What next!!
