The River Don, South Tyneside

Never fished it, but seen the news reports (plus the mention on Youtube when they are re-stocking Barmston Pond). Where abouts did they re-stock it . Where can i fish it?

i walked part of the don years ago for golf balls off george washington golf course only to find crap blobs tampons scrubbed myself for days after been back but not in it very small shallow friend dont think it fishable P.S on same stretch seen my one and only KINGFISHER

Done the same walk, golf balls, Rabbits and Hares!
Unfortunetly only golf balls now!
I used to start my Ferrets on Rats where the Don started at Leam Lane/Heworth, However the EA did stock the Don, they even mention it on YOUTUBE, when they are stocking Barmston Pond (or Willows Reservoir) (take your pick).
Its got to be lower down the stream, Jarrow perhaps?
