  • Best book?

I want to be a fluff-chucker. Have only ever fly-fished once with a mate and found casting difficult. Before I buy gear and get out there, is there a particularly good book that takes a novice through the basics of the game: tackle, tactics, seasonal stuff etc.

I'm sure there are loads about, but since it's going to be still and river trout fishing I wanna do, and in the North East mainly, do you guys have any book recommendations?

Thanks in advance for any help

    Hello,
I am reading this book "Trout From Small Stillwaters by Peter Cockwill".

I am sure there are others but this one has been very useful to me.

    Regards Ian
