  • Sleekburn fishery.

    Hoping to fish Sleekburn trout fishery in a few days time. Never fished there before so if anyone can offer any advice and tips for fishing this water it would be gratefully received.

      i pass it most days and never see anyone fishing it word is its full of weed, i think they have a website now, jamcod

          Use a floating line.
          Flies that work well for surface fishing include;
          ◦Sedge
          ◦Hopper
          ◦Klink-Hammer
          ◦Mini-Muddler
          ◦Daddy Long legs

          for sub surfacefishing try;
          ◦Damsel
          ◦Hares Ear
          ◦Gold Ribbed Hares Ear
          ◦D.Bach
          ◦Buzzer
          ◦Bloodworm

              fished it loads when I was younger, pretty much only natural stuff, dries emergers n buzzers, maybe get them little foam floats that twist onto your line so you can suspend the buzzer close to the surface thats worked for me alot
