    any 1 caught any bass round the abbs area?

    Not an area known for bass, mainly Pollack , wrase and cod, if your looking for bass research torness , its about 20 mins up the A1 from st abbs

      As said st abbs good for pollock and cod pollock will have moved off now there should be some cod still around but also as said Torness power station good for bass if you catch it right i have had some good from the water outfall and the beach to the right of it when they has been or is a eastey blowing you do need waders and watch the rollers i have had then using a controller float with a rubber rag worm on or red gill type lures if this fails try a silver spinner

          st abbs a summer venue,best when warm summer days sea flat calm,cod there in winter but a very unwelcome place if any sea on or its raining can be quite dangerous with those steep climbs one slip and your in the drink,best wait til easter onwards. davy.
