                    • I've been away on holiday for two weeks but should start to get out fishing soon. I had a short session this afternoon but the fish weren't feeding and I only caught a few tiny carp and a bream. Hopefully I'll do a bit better tomorrow out on the Famous.

                            • We aren't really counting fish caught on fartificial corn are we? If that were the case then half the carpers in the country would be classed as top lure anglers, when the fact is they think dropshot is something that happens when you spill your tub of shot for popup counter weights or when you go for a squat in the bushes

Lure angling is using artificial bait that you impart an action to in order to provoke a feeding or aggression response.

Reet, I'm off down my syndicate to get carp, tench and rudd on fake maize

                              • Hey I had the rules confirmed earlier if you look unless I got it wrong. I also checked out what was being classed as a lure!!!
Sticking a set of feathers out wasn't what I'd thought of as lure fishing either but it would count.
I couldn't give a s**t if it dosent count but why don't you just go out and catch the course species, as you say many fish that swims including a lot of sea species will take artificial corn etc. the rules need clarify then because I expected to catch sea species on artificial bread for example, just like the mullet I caught on it last week.
