  • March Lure Meet

Alright Folks, February is behind us now so we can start to get excited about Spring, Summer and Autumn!!!

With that in mind and to get things back on track after a miserable February who's up for a Lure meet in a couple of weeks? Mid to end of March, I'm gonna suggest 24th March? HW is 13.30 and its a 4.6m tide.

To keep the interest I think we should stay local. So suggest some venues and weather / sea permitting we'll get it on.

I'm going to donate a packet of Ecogear Power Minnows (or similiar) to the person who catches the most species on the day (as a bit of a small incentive and introduce some friendly competition).

So you've got to be in it to win it.....
    Regards
    Si

Sounds good mate, a local pier could be a good shout, plenty of space for everyone to fish and still be close enough for everyone to share ideas.
Happy to help, Keen to learn!

Bloody weather! Strong easterly winds and 6-10ft surf. Think we may need to head to a River. I'm thinking Glass Centre or Panns Bank for the Wear??

the pilot pier in hppol is sheltered under upcoming conditions. parking is free n easy too . just a suggestion. theres also a deep channel on one side and a biggish sandy area on one side too. . just an idea.
