  • LRF, the walkway 04/08/13

Went down the walkway for a few hours yesterday afternoon, I was bait fishing with the big rod, but took my lrf gear as well.

Had a few sea scorpians just down the side near the rocks near the end jetty on pink and brown isome's, I also had a bite off something else, I thought i'd hooked it so started reeling up but it let go just as it got to the surface, it wasnt a granny fish, it looked more like a round fish and was a burgandy red colour, I think it may have been a small wrasse. If it was, it's the closest I've come to catching a wrasse! Has anyone else had wrasse off the walkway?

Nice afternoon session, and pleased to find another venue where the lrf gear works.

Yeah, this fish was small, about 5 or 6 inches.
