    Headed up to the sunny borders for some lure/bait fun an frolics to see what was about. First cast and bang fish on. I had 5 good takes and battles but they all managed to shake the hook on the lift.....the 6th one didn't tho and a lovely first for the season for me .......un handled and put back. The macky disappeared on the flood and the swells got bigger catching me off guard a couple of times so I packed up and headed to the harbour where small pollock and coaly fulfilled the rest of my evening. I also lost count of all the jellyfish all sizes and 100s of them! ! Bloody annoying when you are trying to get the stingers off the line and fish at the same time lol tight lines thanks for reading...



    If you look closely at the last photo you will see young deer running up the hill...it was just in front of me as I came over the brow, by the time I got camera out the bugger was 300yds up the hill looking at me lol
