    Think I'll head off up the coast this weekend with the spinning rod for a night under canvas, anywhere you can recommend on our coast thats close to a half decent mark for pollack, coalies etc and not too far from a pub and a shop?

    beadnell camp site 50yds from the shore,chip shop and shop that sells every thing,or seahouses some of the places there you can set a tent up free and a great place for a drink or meal..davy.

          i stayed on that site at beadnel in june for 4 nights fishing ond its a great little site to stay little tip is take a pedal bike as its a canny 25 min walk into seahouses or a 15min walk to the big skeer behind beadnel some nice gullys aver the road from the campsite to fish but my advice is to go with a weedless setup as is kelpy ground
