Hi mate you could try the beach at Monreith for bass, just as you head out of the village towards Whithorn theres a track leading down to the beach, best fished at top water near the burn.Try Port William for mixed bags including Conger best on an evening tide 3 up 3 down.
Port Logan will produce Bass and Pollack to lures try at the back of the Fish pond or from the harbour walls,i belive its a public right of way behind the fish pond but i always ask for permission.Try at the Mull either left or right of the farm (narrow section of road that joins the Mull to the mainland) for Pollock and Bass probably Mackerel as well by now probably a chance of Conger if bottom fishing here.If you have never fished here before please be very careful as its rather scary at times lol, just be sensible.\"Always ask at the farm if you can fish to the left or right as you have to cross into his land\" its never been a problem for me,they are really nice people.
Where you staying mate,we\'re heading over on the spring week, can you post your catch report or pm me how you get on.
If you tell me where you are based i might be able to pm you some better marks so you are not travelling around to much

    Cheers Alan...
