    hello everone im fishing durness the very top of scotland on monday and tuesday probably the open shoreline unless theres any lochs what fish am i likely to get up theire pollock dogs thornies congers stuff like that on what bait all help would be appreicated

    for the pollock use sidewiders /jelly worms fire tails and spinners,and for your bait just take squid,mackerl,sandeels,blueies take that and you will bag up i will promise you

      chearse mate u fished theire or theireabouts before ? and do u no any good marks ?

        Probably to late but, any of the rocky areas should get you pollack although its a bit early for the bigger specimens. Access can be difficult to a lot of the marks with the cliffs there but worth a look right down the end of the road that goes down the east side of the Kyle. The Kyle of Durness is shallow and sandy, good chance of flats and the odd seatrout. Not been along that way for a while but there used to be lug at the top of the Kyle where the river comes in.
