    Is it worth giving it a shot today thinking an hour before high water

    U might as well give it a go. The river has still been producing canny bags of codling, and the walway is one of the hot shots.

      wasn't on saturday fished midday to 6.30pm not a sniff, plenty rods down thur last week nothing getting caught

        Well, nows where NOT to go now mate. Not a sniff on ya bait. Must have been dead down there mate. There may be stil to much freshwater in the river, may b putting the fish off

            True mate, but am not a lucky bugger like u!!

            But sure even if the fresh did stay above the salt, that much of it must affect the PH balance of the water, which in turn must affect the fish in sumway.

            But as u and I know mate, this is an on-going debate.

                  herd about the scractching on the cars... need a bit more than t-cut to get them out by the sounds of it. Me and rutland dont have cars, worse case would be getting our shoes knicked haha, but was very little down there yesterday, only a small undersized codling each... GAY
