  • Whitley Bay AS Night Time Open 2015 - result

    NIGHT OPEN RESULT - 14/11/15
    59 anglers braved some rather poor conditions and 20 weighed in:

    1st - Alan Wood - 3 fish - 9lb 10oz incl. HF 5lb 10oz from Rocky Island
    2nd - Mick Small - 5 fish 8lb 11oz
    3rd - Derek Wood - 4 fish 7lb 14oz
    4th - Mitch Dow - 2 fish - 7lb 2oz
    5th - Alan Gillespie - 4 fish 6lb 5oz
    6th - Danny Swan - 4 fish 5lb 8oz
    7th - Scott Davidson - 3 fish 5lb 7oz
    8th - Steve Potts - 1 fish 5lb 5oz
    9th - Micky Bell - 2 fish 4lb 5oz
    10th=Ken West - 3 fish 4lb 2oz
    10th=Colin Bell - 7 fish 4lb 2oz
    12th - Paul Brown - 2 fish 3lb 15oz
    13th= Kev Burton - 2 fish 3lb 14oz
    13th= Chris Robson - 1 fish 3lb 14oz
    15th - Ryan Lyall - 1 fish 3lb 3oz
    16th - Neil Scott - 3 fish - 2lb 11oz
    17th - Graham Piggot - 1 fish 2lb 8oz
    18th - W Lynn - 1 fish 2lb 7oz
    19th - Karl Brown - 1 fish 1lb 9oz
    20th - David Russell - 1 fish 1lb 6oz

    Well done to Alan, sweeping the board, and to everyone else who weighed in - given the generally poor results the previous week it was a pretty good weigh-in. Here's a couple of pictures of Alan with his winning bag and HF.

      Well done Alan on winning was pleased I caught 2 fish in a open lol... Thanks Gary for a well run match but I think local clubs need to start communicating with each other on dates and times if we are to keep these opens running just my opinion

        Very true Micky - poor decision by Sluice club to put their open on the next morning - both comps will have suffered.

          Sluice open would have also have been better if they had a PA system that actually worked😕

              You'd think it would have been sorted by now. It seems to be the main club for most North East opens.

                Well done to Sluice club for running their open when there are much bigger clubs who don't bother. Great prize table and good turnout. Well done can't please everyone just my opinion
