  • Joining local club

Hello lads I need some advice, I want to join a sac south of the Tyne that has mid week comps on a Friday, I gather seaham are stopping them so joining there would be out of question, I live in ryhope area. I might have to consider a more northerly club.

I reckon there's plenty of scope for having a regular match league on friday neets. Same times each friday neet, regardless of the tides. I'm talking about fixed venues and pegged matches. Full payout. Blyth Beach. Seaton Sluice. Collywell Area. Whitley Bay Beach. Whitley prom. Tynemouth Beach. King Teds. The Tyne up to Copthorne. S/Shields Pier. Little Beach. Big Beach. Whitburn Beach. Roker Beach. Roker Pier. The Wear. Etc, etc. Nowt formal, nee insurance, at your own risk styley. Don't need a clubhouse or nowt. Just buy a decent set o'scales and run it out of the back of yer TARDIS. Tyne and Wear Friday neet league or summat. Ummmm ... I wonder. Just thinking like ... Nee restrictions on bait unless you've got crab and white rag and I haven't and strictly no pulley rigs.
