Embleton supposed to be good shot for flatties, 30 yrds out. Try Fish it at low tide, as I Fished it at High and didnt catch a thing..Lovely Beach, with a great view of Dunnstanbrough Castle...2 mins walk from the Car aswell...

    GOODLUCK...
GET OUT THERE AND STICK A BAIT IN IT !!!

Save the money on fuel and go localy there's meant to be a good surf on tomorow night, probably worth giving tynemouth beach a shot at dusk.

....or, if you do fancy the trip up to Druridge, park up behind the dunes North of Cresswell, dunk rag and mackie baits 10-30 yards out. Small flatties, tiny Turbot, Weevers and sometimes, just sometimes... a lovely bar of silver something else.
                  PBs...Cod 8lb2oz.. Turbot 3lb2oz.. Whiting 1lb8oz.. Coalie 1lb9oz.. Flounder 1lb7oz.. Dab 15oz.. Plaice 13oz.. Bass 1lb 6oz
