This year's Sunderland Shore Angling Festival had a turnout of 250 seniors and 11 juniors. Tony Grant took the top prize of £750 (for the third time!) with a codling of 2368g (just over 5lb in old money) from Marsden. Second place went to Dave Frost with 2238g and third to Lee Jay Bryant with 2174g. Three juniors brought codling to the scales. The junior winner was Cam Charlesworth with 468g, followed closely by Harley Thompson with 464g. Third place went to Keane Greenhow with 378g.
