      Old reliable slosh 20 m8 still up there with the best also bg 20 aswell.

          as were in the ... all our yesterdays section...

          im going to say the abu 7000.

          theres not many reels been going for over 40 years and still being used today by thousands of anglers as there rough ground reels. myself included.

            my 1st one was abu 9000 from shepherds Gateshead 18 quid.
            was a fortune then

                    Slosh 30. Half the price of saltist and for that reason you don't mind getting a few marks on it

                      I have both the saltist 30 and slosh 30 and the saltist is an all around better reel but for the price of the slosh you cant go far wrong

                              Got to echo the other lads comment's,4 the cash can't beat a slosh,but if u want pure qlty/guts,the saltist's take some beating,got the bg30 n it's pure heaven to use,so smooth,cast's really well n sure does pull e'm in lolI know they r double the price but ever heard the saying,u get wot u pay 4
