there is no mackerel allowed to be weighed in in the cleadon club

Rod its excactly wat I'm going to do aswell, the match results would of been totally different! The way it is now means you've got to get 2 or 3 codling to match someone with 5 mackerel?

Rod ,whats the rules on how many hooks you can use - surely there not hoying out a full set of day-lites are they ??

and agree that you ask for them to be banned ,the macky seem to stay around longer each year - so anyone not fishing for them could build up a healthy score on over all weight before the codling come into play

We've got a three fish rule for mackerel. I suppose it allows for odd stray catch but not worth targetting.
