    Final league placings for the Retired Members for 2017 are as follows:
    27 matches fished, all on Tynemouth Pier, 16 cancelled.
    1st Tony Anderson. 25 fished, 25 weighed in. 155 fish for 111lb 15oz
    2nd Tony Taylor. 24 fished, 22 weighed in. 112 fish for 89lb 12oz
    3rd Tom Sawyer. 26 fished, 22 weighed in. 92 fish for 66lb 7oz
    4th Trevor Straker, 20 fished, 18 weighed in. 69 fish for 58lb 13oz
    5th Alan Edwards. 15 fished, 13 weighed in. 63 fish for 48lb 11oz
    6th Bob Gascoigne. 14 fished, 12 weighed in. 55 fish for 44lb 6oz
    7th Phil Smithson. 15 fished, 14 weighed in. 56 fish for 42lb 2oz
