  • Seaham SAC Wilkinson Trophy 15/4/18

Today we fished for the Wilkinson Trophy between the hours of 1300-1800 with high tide around 16:15hrs.
73 Anglers which included 4 lady members fished the Comp with most choosing the Pier to start, with a canny swell and plenty of colour in the water. Again the lower numbers at the top of the Pier appearing to be the place to be, with Robbie Davison soon landing two Codling within his first few casts. The South easterly wind was slowly picking up the water and at around 4pm the pier became awash and the members had to leave to fish new ground.
The good weigh in that was expected didn't materialise and only 13 members weighed in a total of 16 fish for a total weight of 32.64lb

    RESULT.

1st Rob Davison 3 fish for 6.46lb (HF 3.15lb) (Pier)
2nd Gary Blanchard 2 fish for 3.38 lb (Pier)
3rd Ian Ainsley 1 fish for 2.77lb (Target)
    4th Andy Birch 1 fish for 2.52lb
5th Lee Burton 1 fish for 2.49lb (Target)

    Mystery sealed weight 4.71lb

    1st Gary Blanchard 3.38lb
    2nd Rob Davison 6.46lb
