    Fished from 20.30 - 00.30.
21 Codling between three of us, 13 well in size, biggest 3lb,we lost at least another 6 decent fish probably well in excess of 3lb,all fish taken on Lug and crab, with lug the more popular of the two,we used two hook flapper rigs with long flowing traces

Well done Alan! can you pm the exact location you were fishing please? I sometimes fish on the prom / walkway at the otherside of the loch gates at the marina.

It's only worth sharing marks if they're not fishing then Alan?

    Helluva session though m8. N1

That's not the reason Ell sort of between the marina and the ferry landing (at a guess)

A busy night indeed......lol.....for some ......hahahaha

Me & Ian fished Shields pier - had one codling all night (and THAT went back - without its' plastic ring. Spoke to a few lads as they were coming off the pier - some whiting caught but no codling (other than the one I had).
Looks like the river is fairing better than the sea for codling at the moment.
