  • few hours out last night

Whitley or tynemouth was the question last night. So me and mitch had drive along the sea front, tynemouth looked spot on and after a look at whitley thats where we headed.
The barge bottom looked good but the bathing pool even better and after a chuck on barge we had a walk along while the light was still fading. First chuck and it was hotching with weed so after pulling in a double figure weed fish we went back onto the barge.
Two chucks two fish for me then it went quiet. It started to flood and mitch got two off the belt but we had to leave. No doubt we would have had more fish if we stayed. All fish were around the pound and a half mark and were returned fit and well.
Nowt special but an enjoyable early season session, roll on the dark nights and big seas !
    Regards Nicky.

Seems to be plenty smaller fish around at the moment, if there's only small ones there that's all you can catch. Well done on getting a couple out mate.
