British Airways on Tyne 24/09/14

Me and Mick Dunn had 4 hours or so down British airways car park today, was a good session in terms of numbers of fish. We lost count in the end but had between 45-50 fish all in. I had 2 or 3 more than him.

The fish were mainly flounders but there was a couple of codling, a few whiting and a single coley amongst them. none big but great sport on light gear.

All fish caught close in on a mixture of baits rag, runny down, mackerel and bluey.

Was a canny trip out for my first one since the back end of february.

You just managed to remember that you beat him by 2 or 3 though. Nice one

Oh I had an eel as well, so 5 species.
