Struggled to work out where to go last night. Got some great advice from Thommaz regarding Marsden but couldn't fancy the drive north up the coast through the illuminations after a late finish at work. Anyway ended up with a couple of hours local at the Target fishing the tide up. When I got there about 5pm the water was way too low to fish off the top so I struggled down the dodgy steps and fished off the pipe. Sea looked spot on but only one (massive) bite and this little fella made an appearance along with his 2nd last meal! Caught on Cart and Blacks. Surprised that crabs were still active given sea state, but they were tearing into the Cart. The cliff tops were filling up with lights as I left so hopefully the lads up top will have fared better.
