  • 17/10 Where to go

Normally I fish Blyth docks at the weekend as it's safe and there are always tidlers for my 9 year old son. Tonight looks like I am allowed to fish by myself so looking for advice where there is a better chance of 35cm+ fish. North of the Tyne please.

Lynemouth seems to be fishing mate, should be cod on all the usual marks if the sea hasn't died off too much

With the sea that is running" you could catch from anywhere mate to be honest craster Lynemouth cullercoates church point the beacons.
The list is endless when the sea is like this also the tide is moving less than two metres tonight so tides in your favour too.
      good luck stay safe.

Thanks for the info. I picked up some crab and slammers. Is even the easy Blyth pier worth a try or does that still crowd up at night?
