  • Thorn back and hounds

Working over in Dumfries at the moment and was invited by Adam one of the locals I am working with for a spot of fishing, travelled around 30 mins to Auchencairn along the road from Dalbettie (I think) and set up with Adams fresh crab as bait, I have never known anything like it smooth hounds to around 7 pound (Adam had the bigger ones mine were around 4) doggies every other chuck, on my last cast I got a Thorne back ray shore PB of a around 7 pound.all fish went back alive and well. what a difference it makes haveing a local putting you on the fish, if you are on here Adam thanks again for a great few hours fishing. Got lots of pics on phone and will try and put them on later.
