fished 2 marks on middle of beach during flood from 6pm - 10pm, sea flat minimal size waves. used rag, lug, squid, sprat and razor. Deliberately used size 4 hooks to stop catching tiddlers but still managed to foul hook 6 inch whitie.
First 2hrs lots of bites but nothing hooked, 2nd 2 hrs nothing. 3 anglers fishing north
of beach also got nothing but were still there when I left.
The end of the lower Tyne estuary mark must have been pretty busy judging by the number of headlights flashing on it, hopefully they did alright..
