fished longsands last night below the chirch got on beach 9 at night one hour in to flood ,totaly flat calm but that didnt stop the fish biting. fished 2 rods both with 2 hook pennel rigs one out about 100m the other about 50m,fished with rag and lug on one hook and rotting mussel on the other on both rods .the rod close in was getting the knocks and the fish all on the mussel two flounder just over 1lb and a small place three quaters of a pound all pan size.the rest rockling loads of them on mussel and rag lug,not a cod in sight or whiting but an entertaining night had finished at midnight. back out friday hoping sea has picked up.
