pier then walkway 14/10/11

well a walk down as far as the brigade hut on the pier was enough for me so me n S o S set up our gear with rag bluey ,lug n crab to tempt the ol fish out.
not good,fed the for crabs for an hour n quarter and not a bite, so quickly packed up the gear and headed off for the walkway.
loads of fellow fishermen dandling there lines and as we were setting up the lad to our left pulled in a nice sized whiting so things were looking up.
couple of casts in and S oS pulled in a whiting at 44cm

nice fish but very thin.
not long after pulled one in mesel at 36 cm

ones each,started to get the gear packed away as i had to pick our lass up and as S oS reeled in for the last time he had an other whiting on at about the 40 cm

two one to S oS but with the bait thats left im hitting the water tommorow to see if a few more fancy our bait.
some canny sized fish were being caught alone the walkway but most were on the thin side,still made a pensioner happy,fish were deeply hooked so we give ours away along with the lad who had one next to us
nearly forgot this one S O S with the biggest of the day,notice the size of the head compaired to the body.
