Mate, Gary twisted my arm into a sesh on Lynemouth beach last night, accompanied by Greggthe1 to, we set about looking for those elusive coddies.
Starting 200yds south of the burn at 7pm, things were frustratingly quiet with only a few flounders, odd coaly and whiting showing. I took a good walk along the beach and there were loads of anglers out, in fact there was hardly a space available! Loads fishing but I only witnessed a couple of fish to 5lb on the beach. However with a lovely looking sea pounding in we perservered and a quick move up to the far north of the beach payed dividends for Gary on his first cast!
Gary in magazine pose with a very nice 5lb'er.
This was our only sniff of a decent fish despite the hours put in, with only the odd rockling, coaly, flounder and whiting for our efforts.
Big well dones to Gary, a very nice start to the season. Tightlines, Dave.
