  • Glass Center 4/11

Hello, this is my first post on here me and the boyfriend (antony L) fished the glass center from about 8 till 10.45 last night. Quiet all night for him, not so much as a nibble but i managed to pull in 5 whiting, 3 good size, 2 just undersize. Also lost a canny flattie on the lift Bait used for me was mussel and mackerel, and the boyfriend used lug, mussel and mackerel.

Few ********s down there setting off fireworks right next to us and driving round the over spill like boobs. But other than that i had a good nights fishing.

A great first thread/post and a good catch. Well done.

You'll always get some bugger acting a tit down there and most other place this time of year, but at least the fishing was good for ya.

              Nice one.

I've never fished down that way, do you just park in the Glass Centre car park ?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and yeah tony but i wouldn't recommend doing it during the day because you have to pay and display, but from about 6pm onward its fine

Well done Billie, unfortunately the glass Centre does attract the numpties which is a shame as it is a nice easily accessed fishing spot. The plebs who were setting off the fireworks sound like te usaual Friday/Saturday night crowd who make a night of boozing setting fires and generally spoil the place for proper anglers.Hope they dont put you off all together.
