  • multiplier reel I found

    Just digging through all my fishing gear and found two multiplier reels I never new I had they are
    ambassadeur 7000 and Ryobi try master


    Anyone heard of them are any worth using as just taking the sport up again

    nowt wrong with the 7000 reel m8 get them used

      Was about to go any buy a reel to learn to use and stumbled across these two it's mad the stuff you find hidden away

        7000's a good reel not sure about the ryobican't go wrong with the abu m8

          I had a ryobi fixed spool when I was a kid it done the job

            They used to be ryobi projects from memory,they were the new breed of fxd spool,long tapered spools,want a bad reel for the money.Not heard of the try master tho either that or I can't rem them lol.

              Try master was a budget but well built boat reel matey

              No good for casting but sound for dropping a lead over a boat.

              The 7000 will be superb for a bit of anything, casting boat or rocks.

              Just give it a good clean and oil, add 2 brake blocks and enjoy.
