  • SSA Crimbo Casting Event 17/12/2006

    the casting event this sunday is at the cults castle Kennedy.
    the entrance is the same as the last event down by the big green hangers . come early if you can as we dont have much daylight this time of year .it should be a windy day if the weatherman gets it right .

            thanks lads, chris macey done the 7ht turbo conversion and i stuck the other one in myself, you can take that one out if you want to use your reel for fishing, just put another end cap on, everything is in one piece, bullet, magnet, end cap. dave stenson was selling them, they are a good conversion.

                    Looks like the starting grid at a karting meet. Nice lot, do you get to go through many at an event?

                    Not that I really need to use it often but I must get some tuition next year for when I need a bigger chuck.I think it would help at certain times and venues. Like when all you can see is white water in Yorkshire, is that right Simon?

                      only use 3 reels at a comp. one for .28 line/ 1 for .32 / and 1 for .35 line.

                        I gather that you have fished the holderness coast then .its not too bad after a blow when the water is murky ,but during a rough onshore wind you have got to blast it out to be in any chance of fish

                          Sandsend a couple of years back Pete. It was like fishing into a washing machine but Simon hit gold with a 10lb tiddler.

                            hello simon ,which one are you ? are you the one who is not allowed to wear the trousers at home and does a lot of washing up and ironing if it is you merry chrismas and a happy new year (Buttmud boy ) I was talking to Ghandi,s Grandson today he,s ok and I had a call off the alky he,s going diving in the morning .
                            Peter .M was you fishing from the top of the cliffs or round from the car park , me I dont like heights .
