Been down the field today with John Ward and we have cut out 3 oche's one in the southeast corner , one in the south west corner and one big one between the tower and the wood on the south side of the field .
We have measured the southern oche and from that to the wood is 365 yards there is then 80 yards of woodland after that before the houses so unless there is a southerly gale we should be able to cast now in that direction although a decision will be taken on the day for safety reasons .
Please pay attention to anyone directing cars when entering the field as we have placed these oche's to get the maximum use of the casting area and we need to get the cars parked to suit .
