NESA will be holding an extra event this summer as a fundraising event for the
England team who'll be casting in World casting championships hosted in Greece later this year.
The England casting team needs your support:
The England Casting Team has historically found great success at the World Casting Championships. Most years they have won team and or individual medals. Now you would think that a Team representing their Country on the World stage would have their expenses met out of public funds. This is not the case, the Team members have had to self fund almost the whole expense, Supported by donations from a small number of individuals and raising further funds from raffles plus getting just a measly hand out from Sport England. This year 2012 even this small contribution from Sport England will not be forthcoming. So NOW its going to be up to us, if enough of us donate just a small amount it will soon add up, so that we can send the best TEAM possible to the 2012 World Championships.
Our aim at this event is as other clubs are doing ,simply to help the team organisers raise some funds, get there and bring home GOLD medals.
This year,England have an extremely strong squad , both A and B teams , 3 of which are Northern Lads,we wish the entire England team every success on the world stage , some of which who will be attending the fundraising event .
Prices on the day -£5 per caster (members and non members)
