    NWSA results April 1st 2007

The first event of the season saw a sunny day with a cool North East wind 5 to 15 mph, down the court most of the day, pressure was 1033.A good turn out and more pb's which is encouraging. Again junior Kyle Powell lead the day, upping his pb all day long to a magnificent 125 yds. His dad Will, also got among the pb's this time on the 200g, and then put down a new club record on the fixed spool .35 line and 125 g of 210-0-4.Pete Roberts, Dave Hutchinson and Dave Hammill continued improving the pb's while Marcus Hammill decided to create a back cast record on the 150g to make 205 yds..Paul Johnstone had an average just over 251yds over four different weights, a great achievement. The 100g is getting popular, with the new line size of .25 it should not be long before everybody is trying it.
