A dry day with variable sw wind of 14-18mph blew down the court most of the day. a a quick court adjustment at lunchtime was needed to take full advantage of it, and lads did. Back in form John ward won our event with a super smooth cast of 266yards, nice one John and new member Mike Grant from Bridlington was,nt too far behind him .Congratulations a must for Andy Hooper who smashed his previous pb with a cracking 256yard cast ,well done Andy.Baz Blakeman set a new club record with the 100gm of 254yards
as did Big man Steve Anderson ,232yards with the 200gm .well done fellas.Too many pb,s too mention but well done to all who did .

well all i can say is i am realy disapointed i turned up today granted a bit late another flash flood but fought my way out of street on arrival i said to myself oh bloody hell in the rush i left rod in house but had everything else , dissapointed no one would lend me a rod you horrible lot

as usual, some good casting in the n.e. ive been waiting for steve [the mask] to pop the big,un on. can,t understand why baz is still holding a bit in hand with the 100grm, but thats baz. even my old mate norman [mr angry] turned out . i reckon the club,s buzzing and hope some more of the lads will come back to it.

hi bill, big nico turned up [ well not so big now] great to see him again didn't recognise him at first. andrew had a cracking day smashing his pb well done andrew top class casting. even john turned up but sadly didn' t have a chuck. i the old lads didnt do so bad john ward was casting realy well as was mike from brid stevie had a bit of a bad day but got there in the end nice one goiter!!!. casting the 100grm for the first time in about 10 years i thought i would be allover the place but all went straight down middle realy enjoyed it was doing an irish jig got that excited .was expecting you coming over maybe the next one.
