the Wigtown casting event went ahead today on a different field which backs directly onto the estuary ,the weather was dry and sunny but very humid and little to no wind/breeze . so the court did not have to be moved we set the court out and found a skylarks nest with eggs in the court area so we marked it out and everyone kept away from the nesting birds .

the Newcomer today was Lewis Cowie from over dumfries way and he started off at 120-0-0\" which was a PB and finished the day at 166-1-0\"PB , which was quite an improvement well done Lewis and we hope to see you again with maybee a few of your mates at the next event .
bob collins beat me on the 150 gram by 1foot so to be fair I had to try and beat him on the 125gram which was finally done with one cast to spare on the old axcellorator +F/Spool , its a bugger Eh Bob the old fart doing you again .as usual if any thing is wrong let me know and I will alter it if it is legal .
