  • WR300. New v Old Model?.

    Hi,
Can anybody tell us the differences between the old & new model WR300. I know the new one has minimal build(finish) & steel banded spigot but, how does it compare for casting/fishing?, i.e; bite detection & feel in the cast(tip action)..
Had previous model in past but curious as looking at getting another.
    Thanks in advance....

Bought a wr300 at the start of last season, excellent rod in my opinion. Tested a few of the Centurys including the Kompressors and found they did'nt have the backbone which i require in a rod. But don't let that put you off because it has a brilliant bite detection to match..
