Hi what do you mean by turner ? Do you mean a drier that uses a motor to cure the highbuild level or a wrapper that you use to do wraps(whippings)?.

I would like to make something for both drying and wrapping but not sure where to start .
I have a slow plug in motor off a disco ball that would probably do as a dryer. And I've seen you can use a sewing machine motor with the pedal for wrapping .
I'm just looking for ideas before I start

sorry only got the 1 photo but it might help,
the thread runs across the board and through a net curtain eye
take the motor out of micro wave the one that turns the turn table and use the plastic thing that the glass plate sits on,
drill hole through bit of thin ply wood screw motor on glue plastic thing onto round disc and push onto motor,
i put pegs in to disc then lacky band to hold rod
plug in switch on jobs a guddin.
i have another disc with foam on that i use to dry flies

Do you wire a plug onto the 2 gold lugs ?
Just been looking at them on eBay and they are cheap enough

just go down the local tip they norm have loads of them,

when you get the motor get the plug and wire aswell, put 2 spade conectors on wire and push onto motor put earth onto screw that holds motor onto your frame, use a spray can lid as a motor cover, or ( dont stick your fingers on them )
