just got myself a zziplex profile mk1 i think, used it a few times with a 140g lead using a fishing pendulum and seems like a lovely rod for how thin and light it is. can anyone tell me their views of the rod and what distances its capable of? thanks

When I used to cast down at Steyning Nick May usually used a Profile for the 125g and 150g and was aways in the 210 - 220 metre bracket.

In the right hands it is a 250 yard plus rod, for us mere mortals it will put 125g or 150g plus bait as far as you will ever need to.

I've got my TTLD which does the same job just not quite as well. Love the TTLD to bits but if I could go back in time I'd probably save up a few more quid and get the Profile.
