In spite of also not yet having used the reel, I can say that it's extremely well made, if a bit on the heavy side for its size but then what would you expect for a reel made almost entirely from metal rather than plastic, of one form or another?.
I'm now seriously considering a 5500/6500 as a tool for kayak fishing

Spin fisher is the way forward Paul they are power houses. Although I have not used the conflict for what it is I would pay the extra for a spin fisher mate.Century Eliminator T900
